Eastern Paradise Milton Keynes

A slightly apprehensive return to the Eastern after a few years and previous "average" memories.

However, as soon as we were welcomed in, it was clear that the whole restaurant had “upped it’s game”

It was packed! Good background music, customer hustle and bustle and the usual cheerful staff were very glad to see us again.

Having been seated at a round table, ideal for us, we were quickly served very good “poppies and dips” whilst we chose from the menu. The first surprise….you can now chose the Banquet Night every night of the week for only £21.95. This is not the usual very limited menu often found in other restaurants but basically the full menu minus the obviously more expensive items, eg seafood or multi dishes.

The mixed starter was popular and very nice and the Rashmi Kebab was large, fresh and very good. The staff were very attentive, helpful and happy to have a chat.

The mains were very well presented, hot and spot on with regards the spicy hot rating on the menu. The Lamb Lahori was particularly good! I found the vegetables, rice and naans above average and the portion sizes generous.

However, the big difference between this and previous visits was the over all package. The food, cleanliness, ambience and service have improved, making this a very enjoyable evening out. Fantastic value!
